The Incident: A late night weekend electrical storm took out the centralized data center of a client with 10 worldwide satellite operations, stopping all communication among the offices…

Our Resolution: Our staff implemented its Disaster Recovery (DR) plan, with a triage team onsite Saturday morning and working through the weekend. The data backup system functioned as designed, saving 100’s of GB’s of data, and the system was brought back online before business hours on Monday.

The Incident: A client without Managed Services had a server failure late Friday afternoon. A year’s worth of legal data appeared lost…

Our Resolution: The UnbreakableIT triage team spent the weekend using multiple forensic tools to recover a year’s worth of legal documents. A temporary server was provided to the client at no charge to keep them running during the entire process.

The Incident: Greg was located 120 miles from the UnbreakableIT Help Desk and stated he had lost a 64 page Word document. The document represented almost 5 hours of work and the auto save feature had malfunctioned…

Our Resolution: Within 30 minutes a member of the Help Desk had remotely logged into the client’s computer and patched together enough temporary files to bring back the lost data.

Our Resolution: After exhausting a checklist of possibilities, the UnbreakableIT Help Desk suggested the client send a cell phone picture of the wiring to the router. The picture revealed that a wire had been connected to an incorrect port. The issue was resolved in seconds and required no onsite technician.

Our Resolution: The UnbreakableIT staff worked with several software vendors to obtain the necessary medias and usernames and passwords. Once all the information had been gathered, the FDOT software system was successfully installed in less than 45 minutes.

The Client: Cynthia, Architectural

The Incident: Cynthia’s Internet was unstable and causing costly downtime…

Our Resolution: The problem was tracked to the Internet service provider’s fiber connection to the router. After the ISP recognized it to be their problem, UnbreakableIT managed the issue until the Internet service provider fixed the problem.

Jaime Halscott

Jaime founded UnbreakableIT believing that technology should be easy to use. His vision was to make technology accessible to Orlando businesses of all sizes in simple managed packages.

Jaime has worked his entire career to build successful software and technology companies. Most recently, Jaime was a Director at a Windows management software company, ScriptLogic, where he helped build a world class pre-sales engineering team. Prior to that, Jaime was on the ground floor of a local software start-up, Small Wonders Software, where he brought his networking and infrastrucutre skills to assist in creating management software for the Windows platform.

Before joining the software world, Jaime was an IT Director for the Diocese of Orlando, where he designed a large scale Windows networking infrastructure. Jaime began his career writing software for credit card processing at Paysys in Maitland and creating database systems for tracking turbine outages at Siemens Westinghouse. He has also designed large scale business-2-business e-commerce systems for e-procurement at Go-Coop

Awards and Achievements:

Jaime is a member of American Mensa, has served on the Industry Advisor Board for High-Tech Institute as well as the Technology Committee for the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida.

Jaime is the recipient of Book Awards in Cyberspace Law and Law of War from the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. He is also the Secretary in the Students of eLaw organization and member of the Federalist Society and Military Law Society.

Dave Gaige Jr.

Dave has been in the technology field for nearly 15 years. In that time he has seen and kept up with many changes in the hi-tech industry. He has committed himself to learning all he could about computer security and forensics. UnbreakableIT has used his expertise on many occasions to warn clients about their vulnerability to hackers and recover valuable data from a crashed hard drive. What clients like most about Dave is his willingness to go above and beyond the traditional break-fix model and help them to protect and understand their PCs better.

Dave moved to Florida from New York twenty years ago and is married to Becky. They have 2 kids in college and one still at home finishing high school.

David Perez

David began his technology career in 1989 where he earned his Main Frame Computer Operator Degree from the Computer Learning Center in Paramus, New Jersey. After graduating, he went to work for ADP as a main frame computer operator. Eleven years later he moved to IT Sales and Trade Shows for ten years. He returned to school to further continue his IT education. David is currently working on obtaining his Bachelors’ Degree in Cyber Security from ITT Tech in Lake Mary. He will complete his degree in 2013. He has extensive experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Joe Cosmano

Joe is UnbreakableIT’s data center expert. He has a proven track record designing, supporting, and maintaining complex fault tolerant infrastructures that meet even the most demanding clients’ uptime requirements. Before joining UnbreakableIT, Joe managed the engineering staff and facilities for a world class data center provider. He was responsible for ensuring all aspects of the 25,000 square foot data center, managed hosting products, colocation services, and interstate ISP operated at peak performance levels in a 24/7 environment.

Working in the managed hosting industry has provided Joe with an incredible breadth of experience supporting heterogeneous architectures.

While Joe has focused on Linux server administration and Cisco powered networks, he is also extremely familiar with Microsoft and Apple systems as well as virtualization, security, enterprise architecture, and application development. Joe’s expertise and versatility adds to UnbreakableIT’s ability to design, manage, and support diverse client infrastructures.

Joe earned his bachelor’s degree in information systems technology from Orlando’s University of Central Florida. He is currently working towards his master’s degree in information systems security at the University of Denver.

Roy Kerns

Roy has been in the Information Technology field for 15 years. He started his career in New York City area providing all levels of support for various Fortune 500 companies. In these support roles he developed his client friendly demeanor and empathy directed towards the resolution of client issues. Later, he held positions of Network Administrator, IT Manager and System Administrator. In these positions he designed and implemented the IT infrastructure for corporate headquarters and satellite offices, achieved greater efficiencies in power/cooling/cost by implementing virtualization technologies based on VmWare. In his career he also has extensive experience with Cisco and Juniper switches and firewalls as well as Microsoft based systems. He continues to enhance his knowledge of all aspects of Information Technology to better serve the customers of UnbreakableIT.

Robert Scotti

Robert has always had an aptitude and passion for computers and technology. He started his career with computers and customer service at the University of Central Florida shortly after obtaining a Bachelors of Science degree from the institute. During his years at UCF, he developed his client friendly demeanor and the skills needed to organize the resolution of client issues. Today Robert applies these talents to both provide customer service to clients and assist UnbreakableIT’s technicians.

David Schiavenato

David began his career as a graphic artist in NYC in 2000. He moved to Florida in 2001 and decided to go into IT when he had to network a MAC and PC without the needed support. He graduated from Valencia college with an A.S. degree in Information Technology and brings seven years of solid desktop support and customer service to UnbreakableIT.

Jeff Cofield

At age 13, Jeff got his first IBM PC in 1983 and never looked back. In the mid-90s, what started out as a hobby, finally became a career. Now, with 20 years of experience in the Information Technology field and having worked for some of the largest and most recognizable companies in the world (Dell, Motorola, American Express), he has done everything from supporting five user offices with small Windows-based environments to designing and implementing infrastructures that support tens of thousands of users with mixed mainframe, midrange, and Windows-based systems that reach every corner of the global IT landscape.

James Montgomery

Jim has been in the Information Technology field since 1987. Jim has worked in all capacities in the Information Technology field. He began his career in Northern California providing support to several Fortune 500 Companies as well as startups all around the San Francisco Bay Area. He then moved to Ft. Myers, Florida in 2003 to accept an IT position within the local government and subsequently moved to the greater Orlando area in 2008 to accept a Senior Engineer position with a local real estate firm.
